Our course is an adaptation of the "First Steps in Music" curriculum created by Dr. John Feierabend.

Having had experience with various curriculums that use highly contrasted approaches to early childhood music education, we have found the Feierabend curriculum to be the most effective.

Our founder, Kimberly Greenwood, has personally gone through each song, rhyme, and activity in the curriculum and organized it into an age-appropriate, easy to approach way so that you and your family can benefit from it right away!

The Babies & Toddlers Music Course is specifically for parents with children 0-3 years old, but older children may also benefit by participating.

The Early Elementary Music Course for children 3-6 years old will be built out after the 0-3 course is complete. We estimate being able to start working on this additional course in 2027-2028.

Active subscribers will automatically have access to future courses at no additional cost once they become available.

You can start engaging with your child(ren) using our program immediately after registering!

As soon as your account is active, you can watch our parent instruction video and music classes. Because we want anyone to be able to use our classes, no additional supplies, materials, or instruments are needed - just you, your voice, and your child(ren).

As you complete previous modules and lessons, the next lesson (if already released) will automatically unlock for you. Videos are regularly released for future lessons - typically on a weekly basis.

There are 45 lessons each year, leaving 7 weeks free for holidays, vacations, or just to make sure there's room for life and all of the unexpected things that come with parenting. This way, you can go at your own pace and adapt the lessons to your child(ren)'s needs. Breaks are often times when children can process what they have been learning and come back more excited and refreshed for new learning.

Additional content to supplement the course curriculum may be added based on feedback we receive from the parent community and the needs of families enrolled in the course. Community access is available to all active members.

No. Our goal is that anyone is able to enroll and get started on day one - without having to purchase any expensive supplies or instruments.

All you need to be successful with our program is your voice, your child, and a few minutes a day to play and sing with your child!

No - whether you are a mother, father, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or other caregiver, you are welcome to enroll in our course offerings and join the private support community to make a difference for the child(ren) in your care!

Outcomes are more successful based on how involved you are in your child's life. Raising children can be a daunting, difficult task, but having a simple plan you can stick to and taking steady, consistent action in a positive direction can make all the difference! If you are loving your child(ren) and dedicated to their success, the sky is the limit!

Note: Although any responsible adult can implement the courses we offer, we do not recommend doing so without the explicit permission of the child(ren)'s parent or legal guardian, out of consideration for the child(ren) and respect for the dignity and accountability of those primarily responsible for their child(ren)'s growth and development.

None of our classes or videos are intended to be used as a digital babysitter or virtual instructor for your child. Excessive screen time can damage your child's health and development, including their ability to relate to you.

The videos are intended to help you understand how to more fully engage with your child using cultural, musical, playful interactions to stimulate their growth and development. Following the recommended use of our course material is also intended to help you form a healthy, long-term relationship with your child by building trust and establishing your family culture.

In short, while Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) is a powerful tool, we do not consider it to be a substitute for human interaction, personal introspection, critical thinking, human empathy, engaging in the creative process, or using good judgement.

At A House of Learning, we will never use A.I. for the things that truly matter for the proper learning and development of living, breathing human beings. For example, we will never use an A.I. generated instructor or A.I. generated scripts in our lesson videos. We feel this to be a vital component in maintaining high quality, authentic teaching and learning based on real life experiences and proven methods.
